Michel Bertet – Fifth on the Solar Challenge, Discreetly

Michel Bertet is a family man of the Sun Trip: his children Elise and Denis rode the 2015 edition as a duo. Michel took part in the Sun Trip Tour 2017 (winning the “super-combatant” trophy), the Sun Trip France 2020 and the Sun Trip Europe 2021, where after 40 days he was fifth in the solar challenge.

He rides a solar trike. “Each time, my Sun Trips have been very varied adventures, the result of a complex compromise: preparation, cycling technique, sport, encounters, risk, improvisation, playing with the sun, mutual aid, happiness and a little suffering.”
