Stéphane Briel – Back Seven Years After the First Sun Trip

About this project

Stéphane Briel was a central character of the first Sun Trip in 2013, riding with his friend Stéphane Scotto di Cesare. Legend says they finished without motor and without solar, and the Breton duo won the public prize.

Seven years later he came back for part of the Sun Trip France 2020 with a similar setup: an upright bike with two 250 W motors (front and rear) and a 36 V, 1,000 Wh battery, plus a new AEVON trailer designed by Yannick Cazaspe, with 250 Wp of SunPower cells while riding and an extra 80 Wp panel at stops.

He shares his trips on his blog ssdc-the-sun-trip.
