Pierre Thomasson (France) took part in Sun Trip France 2020, the long-distance adventure on solar-powered bikes held since 2013.
The machine is a solar trike.
Pierre Thomasson, a loyal Sun Trip follower who rode the friends’ loop at the 2018 start, joined part of the Sun Trip France on his home-made solar trike: 20-inch wheels, a Bafang motor, a 48 V 25 Ah battery and 300 Wp of solar on top, plus 100–200 Wp below for stops. Weight: about 55 kg.
