About this project
Adrien Acres built his own Vhélio, a four-wheeled pedal vehicle whose structure is open source on the website of the association Vélo Solaire Pour Tous. After a build workshop in Lorraine he made “many modifications”.

To move about 100 kg, he coupled a Bafang BBS02B 750 W crank motor and an RH212 hub motor to a single Cycle Analyst; a potentiometer shifts power from the rear wheel to the pedal motor for climbs and back for regeneration on descents. Two 230 Wp panels, now tiltable, each have their own MPPT. Batteries: three 13S4P packs of Samsung cells.
He rode the Sun Trip France 2020 and the Sun Trip Alpes 2023 in it. A great lightweight four-wheeler for anyone who wants to build one.
