Didier & Michèle Helmstetter – Solar Tandem on The Sun Trip 2023

Didier & Michèle Helmstetter (France) took part in Sun Trip Alpes 2023, the long-distance adventure on solar-powered bikes held since 2013.

The machine is a solar tandem.

Didier and Michèle Helmstetter rode from Royan to Sète along the Garonne and the Canal du Midi in May 2022, then followed their friend Sylvain’s Sun Trip and signed up for 2023 themselves – on a TWIN AZUB recumbent tandem with a solar roof. What drew them: the landscapes, the route, the technical challenge and sharing with the other riders.
