About this project

Maxence Pioteyry discovered the Sun Trip through colleagues at EDF and decided to take the plunge, with help from Olivier Reginensi in the Vercors.

His bike is a homemade build around a Genesis Vagabond steel frame with a Crystalyte HT3525 direct-drive front motor and two 48 V 11.6 Ah batteries. A TZC Globetrotter trailer carries three 116 W Solbian flexible panels, and a 170 W SunPower panel unfolds at stops.

He rode the whole Sun Trip France 2020.
