Miguel Letor – A Fresh Engineer on a Borrowed Solar Trailer

About this project

Miguel Letor had just finished his engineering studies and was about to start work. “When I heard about the Sun Trip, I said to myself: I’ve got to give it a try!”

He rides a Fahrradmanufaktur TX800 touring bike with a Bafang 750 W pedal motor and a 1 kWh 48 V battery. The solar part is a 205 Wc trailer lent by Géry and Baudouin, the Bay2Bay duo, which had already done a Sun Trip. A nice example of how the Sun Trip community helps newcomers.

His plan for 2024: about 150 km a day, “not racing, an 8,000 km journey rich in discoveries”.
