About this project
Olivier Bory took part in Sun Trip Alpes 2022, the long-distance adventure on solar-powered bikes held since 2013.
The machine is a solar bike.
Olivier Bory, 34, is a hydroelectricity engineer: “It’s the sun that brings water up the mountains and feeds the rivers – so why not use it to help us climb the Alpine passes?” It was his first time on a solar (or rather hybrid) bike, with the battery making up for the intermittent power of his legs and the sun.
